CDAC's Common Admission Test (C-CAT)
This is the entrance examination for DAC course. Center allocation of DAC course is based on rank in C-CAT and preferences given by candidate. Hence getting a good rank in C-CAT is essential to get the most preferred DAC center.

This is the most confusing phase in the admission process. In this phase, you take decision about the course and the center where you would like to undergo training for that course.You have to select training centers in the decreasing order of your preference. Center allocation would be done strictly according to your C-CAT rank and your preferences.Once you are allocated to a center, in any case you can not change it further. Hence we strongly recommend to give your preferences very carefully.

Declaration of First Round of Seat Allocation: 25th July 2025.
Last Date of Payment of first installment course fee (Rs 10,000 + GST) for candidates allocated seats through the first round :31st July 2025 (till 5pm)
2nd Counselling:
Declaration of Second Round of Seat Allocation : 2nd August 2025
Last Date of Payment of first installment course fee (Rs 10,000 + GST) for candidates allocated seats through the second round : 7th August 2025 (till 5pm).
Payment of caution deposit (Rs 10,000 + GST) and Online Selection of Courses and Centres (2nd Counselling) : 08th - 13th August, 2025 (till 5 pm)
Final Counselling:
Declaration of Third Round of Seat Allocation (based on 2nd Counselling):14th August 2025

Ques. What is the Eligibility for PG-Diploma in Advanced Computing?
Ans: The eligibility Criteria for PG-DAC is Candidate holding any one of the following degrees
Graduate in Engineering (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years) in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation.
OR
MSc/MS (10+2+3+2 years) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics.
Mathematics in 10+2 (exempted for candidates with Diploma + Engineering).
Graduate in any discipline of Engineering or equivalent,OR
MCA/MCM,OR
Post Graduate in Physics/ Computational Sciences/ Mathematics or allied areas,OR
Post Graduate in Management with graduation degree in Science/ IT/ Computers
The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination.

A: The fees for the PG-DAC course is Rs. 90,000/- (Rupees Ninety Thousand only) plus 18% GST.

A: Twice in a year in the month of September and March. Admission Process will start in month of July and November every year.

A: The duration of course is 900 hours 30 weeks approximately full-time course.
